Chloe Ekberg is a passionate and enthusiastic journalist, photographer, and artist.
Chloe has traveled to Ireland to work on a documentary photography project, worked with Hear Nebraska, Omaha Fashion Week, The Omaha World Herald, The Grand Island Independent, Hastings College Marketing Office, Hastings College Student run newspaper The Collegian as the photo editor, and the Hastings College Sioux City Media team for four years as a photographer, editor, graphics and camera operator.
Her photographs have been published in the Omaha World-Herald, HC Today magazine, in marketing and admissions brochures, on a billboard, the walls of the Hastings College Sports Arena, front page of The Grand Island Independent Newspaper editions and various online websites such as hearnebraska.org, as well as artwork that have been displayed in Hastings College student art gallery.
Chloe has won various awards including: 1st and 2nd place Collegiate Golden Leaf Awards for sports photo in 2013 and 2011, 2nd place award for news photo for the National Society of Collegiate Journalists, named Who’s Who at Hastings College in 2013, and 2013 Academic Showcase Presenter at Hastings College.
